AAHANZBS exists to promote: the role of historical research in developing theoretical perspectives in business and management; how historical research aids our understanding of contemporary issues in business and management; and teaching history in business and management schools.
The 11th Annual Conference of the Association of Academic Historians in Australian and New Zealand Business Schools (AAHANZBS) will be held on 7-8 November 2019. The event will be hosted by the Business and Labour History Group of the New Zealand Work Research Institute (AUT University).
Judy Kavanagh and Guanyu Zheng from the Productivity Commission will be presenting at 9.30am on Thursday 7 November on New jobs, old jobs: the evolution of work in New Zealand's cities and towns. This paper uses census data to document and analyse the changing nature of jobs in regional New Zealand between 1976 and 2013.
