This year’s conference theme is “Policy and planning under uncertainty”.

Chair of the Productivity Commission, Murray Sherwin, will be providing the Robin Johnson Memorial session on Thursday 29 August 9.30-10.30am on “policy settings/policy making under uncertainty and risk”.
Panel sessions at conference will be held on…
- Climate change – focusing on the science of climate change, greenhouse gas research relating to agriculture, the NZ policy setting and adaptation
- Adaptation – focusing on the resilience of NZ agriculture to natures challenges, future trends in climate and decision support tools for farmers
- Biosecurity – focusing on the M. bovis response, including economic impact assessment by industry and social/ welfare impacts
