NZAE Conference
The 62nd Annual Conference of the New Zealand Association of Economists brings together participants from academia, government and private sectors to discuss and share ideas on important issues facing New Zealand. The conference also provides an opportunity to bring together economists at all stages of their careers to share their experiences, build networks and support the economic research infrastructure in New Zealand.
The conference will be a multi-day format with four outstanding keynote speakers. Caralee McLiesh, Chief Executive and Secretary to the Treasury; Lee Ohanian, Professor of Economics, and Director of the Ettinger Family Program in Macroeconomic Research at UCLA; Alan Bollard, Former governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, Secretary of Treasury, Executive Director of the APEC Secretariat and currently Chair of the New Zealand Infrastructure Commission, and; Suzanne Snively chair of Transparency International New Zealand.
The New Zealand Productivity Commission will run a 'productivity' session, presenting our latest research. More details to come.
