Independent evaluation

Immigration settings

The Commission has completed its inquiry into what immigration policy settings would best facilitate New Zealand's long-term economic growth and promote the wellbeing of New Zealanders. An independent evaluation has been carried out against our performance framework. This uses three external sources of feedback: an expert review, participant interviews and online survey.

Expert review

Richard Bedford conducted an independent review and evaluation of the inquiry. His report is structured around the Commission's performance measures and is available to download here.

Focus group review

Three focus groups and structured interviews were carried out with 12 inquiry participants. The following report presents the results.

Online survey

100 inquiry participants responded to an online survey. The following report presents the results of the survey. All answers are anonymous.
