Are you an Economic Researcher? We're hiring!

20 May 2022

The Productivity Commission is looking for Economic Researchers (at all levels) to conduct research to help achieve New Zealand’s productivity potential.

If you're early in your research journey, but keen to learn how to undertake sophisticated analysis on large complex relational datasets, or if you're a leading economic researcher with a national or international reputation for quality research, then we would like to hear from you!

You will join a team of four applied empirical economists to conduct robust, independent research to inform our understanding of the economy, particularly in relation to productivity, workers, firms and jobs.

To be considered for this position, you must have analytical skills and ability in public policy/economics/quantitative analysis or statistics/law/political science. You will have the initiative and ambition to create practical and innovative solutions to complex and ambiguous problems, and the experience to turn high quality research and analysis into compelling advice.

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
