Better urban planning: Report from Māori Built Environment Practitioners Wānanga

This report provides collective feedback from a wānanga held by Ngā Aho and Papa Pounamu to discuss ‘Better Urban Planning’ within a kaupapa Māori forum. 

The report introduces key Māori planning concepts, details the development of Te Aranga principles, and shares participants' ideas on a collaborative planning framework based on kaupapa Māori values. It emphasizes the potential of integrating mātauranga Māori into urban development and concludes by calling for further discussions on achieving bicultural planning in the country.
